Welcome to ILLUME, a beauty salon and spa that offers various services and products to enhance your beauty and wellness. These terms and conditions govern your use of our website, illume.techabytesolution.com, and your relationship with us. Please read them carefully and contact us if you have any questions or concerns.

By using our website or booking an appointment with us, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with these terms and conditions, please do not use our website or book an appointment with us.

Definitions and Interpretation

In these terms and conditions, the following words have the following meanings:

  • “We”, “us”, “our” refer to ILLUME, a beauty salon and spa located at BTI Armitage, Plot 77, Road 12, Block E, Lift 7,  Banani Model Town, Dhaka 1213, Bangladesh, Phone: +8801790-951999, email: info.illlume@gmail.com.
  • “You”, and “your” refer to the customer who uses our website or book an appointment with us.
  • “Website” refers to our website, illume.techabytesolution.com, and any related pages, content, or features.
  • “Services” refer to the beauty and spa services that we offer, such as hair, nails, skin, massage, waxing, etc.
  • “Products” refer to the beauty and spa products that we sell, such as shampoo, conditioner, lotion, etc.
  • “Appointment” refers to the booking of a service or product with us, either online, by phone, or in person.


Appointments

You can book an appointment with us online, by phone, or in person. You will need to provide us with your name, email address, phone number, and preferred date and time. You will also need to select the service or product that you want to book. We will confirm your appointment by email or phone as soon as possible.

You can cancel or reschedule your appointment at any time, but we ask that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance. If you cancel or reschedule your appointment less than 24 hours in advance, you will be charged a fee. If you do not show up for your appointment without notifying us, you will be charged the full price of the service or product.

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule your appointment at any time, for any reason, such as staff illness, equipment failure, or unforeseen circumstances. We will notify you as soon as possible and offer you an alternative date and time or a full refund.

Fees and Payment

The fees for our services and products are displayed on our website and in our salon. We may change the fees at any time, but we will notify you in advance of any changes. The fees include VAT and any other applicable taxes or charges.

You can pay for your service or product by cash, debit card, credit card, or gift voucher. You will need to pay the full amount at the time of your appointment, unless otherwise agreed. We do not accept cheques or other forms of payment.

We may offer discounts, coupons, or promotions from time to time, subject to availability and terms and conditions. You will need to present the valid discount, coupon, or promotion code at the time of your appointment to claim the offer. You cannot combine multiple discounts, coupons, or promotions, unless otherwise stated.

Eligibility for Treatment

You must be at least 16 years old to book an appointment with us, unless you have the consent of your parent or guardian. You must also be in good health and not have any medical conditions or allergies that may affect your treatment. You must inform us of any medical conditions or allergies that you have before your appointment, and we may ask you to fill out a health questionnaire or provide a doctor’s note.

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate your treatment if we believe that it is not suitable for you, or if you do not follow our instructions or salon rules. We will not be liable for any injury, damage, or loss that may result from your treatment, unless it is caused by our negligence or breach of contract.

Salon Rules

You must follow our salon rules at all times, for your safety and comfort and for the safety and comfort of our staff and other customers. Our salon rules include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Arrive on time for your appointment and check in at the reception.
  • Wear appropriate clothing and footwear for your treatment, and remove any jewellery or accessories that may interfere with your treatment.
  • Do not bring any food, drink, or smoking materials into the salon, unless we provide them or allow them.
  • Do not bring any pets, children, or other guests into the salon, unless they have a booked appointment or we permit them.
  • Do not use your mobile phone, camera, or other electronic devices in the salon, unless we allow them or you need them for emergency purposes.
  • Do not make any noise, disturbance, or nuisance in the salon, and respect the privacy and dignity of our staff and other customers.
  • Do not touch, damage, or remove any equipment, products, or property in the salon, and report any accidents or incidents to us immediately.
  • Follow our hygiene and sanitation guidelines, and use the facilities and amenities provided by us.
  • Follow our aftercare advice and instructions, and contact us if you have any questions or concerns.

We reserve the right to ask you to leave the salon or to ban you from the salon if you do not follow our salon rules or if you behave in an abusive, offensive, or inappropriate manner. We will not be liable for any injury, damage, or loss that may result from your failure to follow our salon rules, unless it is caused by our negligence or breach of contract.

Gift Vouchers

We may offer gift vouchers for our services and products, subject to availability and terms and conditions. You can purchase gift vouchers online, by phone, or in person. You will need to provide us with your name, email address, phone number, and payment details. We will send you the gift voucher by email or post, or you can collect it from our salon.

You can redeem your gift voucher by booking an appointment with us and presenting the gift voucher at the time of your appointment. You can use your gift voucher for any service or product that we offer, up to the value of the gift voucher. You cannot use your gift voucher for tips, gratuities, or cash.

You must use your gift voucher within 06 months from the date of purchase, unless otherwise stated. After this period, your gift voucher will expire and you will not be able to use it. You cannot extend, exchange, or refund your gift voucher, unless required by law.

You are responsible for keeping your gift voucher safe and secure, and for not losing, damaging, or misusing it. We will not be liable for any loss, theft, or misuse of your gift voucher, unless it is caused by our negligence or breach of contract.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties, representations, and guarantees, whether express or implied, that may apply to our website, services, products, or gift vouchers. We do not guarantee that our website, services, products, or gift vouchers will meet your expectations, needs, or requirements, or that they will be error-free, secure, or available at all times.

To the extent permitted by law, we limit our liability to you for any loss, damage, or injury that may result from your use of our website, services, products, or gift vouchers, to the amount that you paid for them, or to the amount that we are required to pay by law. We will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special loss, damage, or injury, such as loss of profit, revenue, data, or goodwill, or for any emotional distress, pain, or suffering, unless it is caused by our negligence or breach of contract.

Nothing in these terms and conditions excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

Changes to Terms and Conditions

We may change these terms and conditions at any time, for any reason, such as to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, legal requirements, or other reasons. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated terms and conditions on our website or by sending you an email. You are advised to review these terms and conditions periodically to stay informed of how they affect your use of our website, services, products, and gift vouchers. Your continued use of our website, services, products, and gift vouchers after we change these terms and conditions constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
